A friendly family of four based in Notting Hill, London, W11 are looking for a new weekend nanny/housekeeper to help look after the children and their home. This is a live out role. You must live within an easily commutable distance.
Package Offered
- £18 - £22 gross per hour depending on experience
- Working 19 hours per week on Saturdays & Sundays
Family Background
This lovely family comprises of busy parents and two young boys, aged 2.5 years and a baby aged 9 months. The family lives in a stunning five storey townhouse in Notting Hill, the property has four stunning bedrooms and five bathrooms. The family has a beloved small dog and cat so you must be happy working around animals. The family currently employs a weekday housekeeper/nanny and cleaner who maintains the home.
Duties
You must be happy to be flexible, undertaking all nanny and housekeeping duties as required. The successful candidate will be energetic, organised, a strong multitasker, and have experience looking after 2 or more children at one time.
Both parents are very hands on but would want to give sole charge to the nanny/housekeeper for a few hours over the weekend to allow them to have a break. You should be confident around children, and passionate about children's development and learning. You will be flexible to lend an extra pair of hands, helping with the daily routine such as mealtimes and bath time, but also be happy and confident to take charge with these.
You must be proactive in suggesting activities and encouraging fun play time with the children over the weekend. Playing with the children, reading, going for walks, and doing arts and crafts etc.
You should be happy to cook healthy fresh lunches for the children. When it comes to mealtimes, you must be confident to take charge and be encouraging and persistent with the children.
The role is mainly focused on nannying, but the house must be kept organised and tidy, making the beds and changing bins with occasional laundry and cooking. You must be happy to clear up after the children and ensure that the playroom and children’s bedrooms are clean and tidy.
During the school holidays, there may be the opportunity for you to travel with the family. Ideally, you would be happy to travel with the family, however, this is not essential. The successful candidate will be happy to babysit occasionally as needed.

The family are based in Notting Hill, London, W11. This is a live out role and you must live within an easily commutable distance.
Days/Hours
- Working 19 hours per week
- Working from 8:30am – 6pm on Saturdays & Sundays
- You should be happy to do occasional overtime hours or babysitting, this would be agreed in advance and will be paid as overtime
Languages
You should speak English fluently to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You should also be confident in housekeeping and laundry. You should be friendly and happy to be a part of family life. You must have experience looking after children of this age range.
