A warm and friendly family of four who live in Windsor, SL4, Berkshire are looking for a long term weekend nanny to join their family. You must have a full driving licence in order to apply for this role.
Package Offered
- £14 - £17 gross per hour
- 8am – 1pm, Saturday & Sunday
- Option to cover the weekday nanny holidays (when agreed in advance) if possible.
Family Background
A young family of four, who have an 19-month-old daughter and a 3 month old baby girl. The family live in a beautiful property in Windsor, it is a large family home situated on a quiet private road with a large private back and front garden. They have a miniature dachshund and their housekeeper also brings her dog to work. So you should be dog-friendly. The family have a full time housekeeper who is responsible for all housekeeping. Dad is currently working from home and mum does not work so you should be happy to work as a team and have shared-care of the children. They have a full time week day nanny, who occasionally works on the weekend, however the family are keen to find a long-term weekend nanny to support their family.
Duties
You will be focused on childcare and looking after the children, playing with them, or taking them to activities and helping them with stimulating activities and games. Mum and Dad are around during the weekend, but they also need some downtime, so they need someone they can trust who is both engaging and kind with the children. You should be confident with babies and able to take sole and shared charge of the two children.
Babysitting or overnight would also be arranged in advance as not standard working hours. You should be warm, positive and friendly with good experience working in domestic settings as a nanny.
Location/Accommodation
This is a live-out role in Windsor, SL4, Berkshire. You should be within an easily commutable distance to apply. If you do not have your own car but can Uber to the property that is fine, as the property is not near public transport. If you have your own car there is ample parking. You will occasionally stay over on weekends to babysit and the accommodation is a double bedroom with Sky TV and your own en-suite bathroom.
Days/Hours
- Every Saturday & Sunday, 8am – 1pm
- Option to cover the weekday nanny holidays (when agreed in advance) and she works Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm.
Languages
A good level English is required.
Special Skills
You should be a confident driver and be a confident nanny who is happy to have shared care with the parents, and sole charge to give the family a rest. You should be looking for a long term role and have a passion for working with children. You should be kind, easy-going and a good team player, as although you won’t be working directly with the week day nanny, you should be happy to follow her lead.
