A lovely family with 4 children aged 6yrs, 9yrs, 13yrs (currently at boarding school in Europe) and 14yrs old and a miniature Dachshund based in Kensington, London W8 are looking for a weekend nanny (alternative weekends) to support the family and work alongside their current nanny and weekend staff. You will be working with the mother and the children as the parents are separated. You must have a full driving licence to apply for this position and be happy to travel.
Package Offered
- £726 gross per weekend
- Overtime paid at £22 gross per hour for additional hours worked outside of contract hours
- Working 26 weekends of the year (half the weekends of the year)
- Automatic car provided

Family Background
A lovely family with 4 children, a girl and 3 boys, aged 6yrs, 9yrs, 13yrs (currently at boarding school in Europe) and 14yrs old are looking for a weekend nanny to support the family and work alongside their current nanny and weekend staff. The parents are divorced and the children spend one week with their mother and one week with their father. The family also have a miniature Dachshund so you should be happy and confident around dogs. The mother travels with the children and you will accompany her if they travel with the children on your working weekend. The home is fully staffed so you will be solely focused on caring for the children.
Duties
You will be solely focused on the children and will care for them, ensuring they have everything they need. Organising activities and supporting them in day to day life.
You will be responsible for getting the children up and ready in the mornings, organising breakfast, and organising activities during the day. When travelling with the children ensuring they have everything they need packed and organising fun activities wherever they are.
You will be proxy-parenting overnight from Sunday through to the Monday morning, and you will be sole charge of the children if they need your assistance during the night or if the mother is travelling.
Location/Accommodation
The family is based in Kensington, London W8. You should be able to commute on the Saturday, and then Sunday through to the Monday AM you will be provided a private bedroom to sleep in for your proxy-parenting. You should also be willing and happy to travel when required with the children.
Days/Hours
- Saturday & Sunday overnight to finish Monday morning
- Saturday - 9am - 7pm
- Sunday - 9am - 8am (Monday morning)
- Proxy-parenting over the Sunday evening, you will be on-call and should be happy to help with all duties as required.
Languages
You must speak an excellent level of English.
Special Skills
- You should hold a full driving licence and be confident driving in London.
- You should be confident and relaxed around dogs.
