A professional couple in Mayfair, London, W1K, are looking for an experienced travelling butler to join their team. This is a live out role and you should live within easily commutable distance.

The couple are travelling between London, Canada and USA throughout the year and are looking for an experienced travelling butler to accompany them. They have 3 cats so you should be comfortable working around animals. They employ other staff and you should be happy to work as part of a team.
Duties
You should be highly professional, capable and have experience as a butler. You must be flexible and reliable as plans change frequently, and often at short notice. You will be reporting to the house manager.
You should have knowledge of wardrobe management and care for delicate materials. You will be responsible for ensuring all dry cleaning is collected on time and logged accordingly.
You should be IT literate and have a good knowledge of inventories and be fully conversant with Encircle.
Liaise with the other members of staff, making sure the grocery lists are completed, housekeeping supplies and the wine cellars are topped up and keeping track of inventories. Liaise with contractors and ensure all work is being done in a safe and timely manner.
You will be required to assist at dinner parties and help the house manager with organising events. Oversee all butler projects and daily walk of the house to ensure all areas are within standard and any damages are reported to the house manager.
Location
The property is in Mayfair, London, W1K, and this is a live out role so you should be able to commute easily to the property.
Days/Hours
- Working five days per week
- 40 hours per week – flexible hours
- Working 1 weekend a month on a shift basis with the other butlers
- Overtime given as time in lieu
Languages
An excellent level of English is required and if you speak French, this is a bonus.
Special Skills
Total professionalism, butler skills and a high level of discretion and ability to work well with others. You should have a full driving licence and have a proven background in butlering.
