A private family in Cambridge, CB2, Cambridgeshire are looking for a temporary Admin Assistant / Junior Personal Assistant to help them with the extra workload for the next three months. Due to ongoing projects, they need an extra pair of hands to assist the Executive Assistant with day-to-day admin tasks. This is a live-out role so you should be able to easily commute. 

Package Offered

  • £16 - £20 gross per hour
  • Flexible working, 4-5 days per week
  • 3-month temporary fixed-term booking

Family Background

The family live in Cambridge, CB2, Cambridgeshire This role is office-based in the family office within their main residence. The family has a Retriever pet dog so you should be happy to be around animals. They also have a chef, a housekeeper, and the executive assistant to who you will report to. You should be happy to work as part of a friendly team. 

Duties

The responsibilities of the personal assistant will be to work alongside their executive assistant and assist in the daily running of the family’s lives. Duties will include handling inquiries, organizing diaries, making appointments, arranging meetings, running errands, returns, postage, ad hoc duties, arranging travel and staff recruitment. 

As an admin assistant / junior personal assistant you should have excellent organizational and time management skills, good written and spoken communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail, a calm and professional manner, excellent computer and administration skills, a flexible and adaptable approach to work, the ability to use your own initiative with tact and discretion for dealing with confidential information. 

The family has a full team of staff working with them, you will be required to work alongside the team to ensure the smooth running of the family home.

Location

This is a role in Cambridge, CB2, Cambridgeshire and is a live-out role. You should be within easily commutable distance. 

Days/Hours

  • The working schedule is 4 to 5 days a week, working from 10am – 2pm.
  • Working 16 - 20 hours each week
  • The hours will be negotiable for the right candidate 

Languages

You should speak a good level of English.

Willing to be flexible and help as needed. Discretion and flexibility are essential.
