A single mother who works full time, she is moving at the end of July and needs temporary cover for her and her son until they move. They are currently based in Ware, Hertfordshire and they have no pets. They are an easy-going, kind and warm family, who just need the support to provide them with care of her young son.
Your role will be fully focused on the son when he is around, and then outside of that you'll be expected to undertake child-related housekeeping and some general house chores. You should be experienced caring and looking after children, understanding how to support them in their play, homework and development. Your duties outside of direct childcare will be related to the child, from preparing food, doing the laundry and tidying up the play room, ensuring the areas are clean and tidy. Being helpful about the house is a must, and when the boy is at school you'll be expected to complete household chores such as laundry and ironing. As this is a single mum, you should be reasonably flexible, and be able to do occasional babysitting.
The family are based in Ware, Hertfordshire. This is a live out role, so you should be able to commute either by train or car to the family property.
5 days a week, Monday-Friday. You'll be working 7:30-6:30pm. With flexibility for occasional overtime evenings/babysitting during the week.
You should speak a good level of English to assist the boy with his homework.

- £400-450net a week (£500-£550gross a week).
