A lovely family based in the beautiful Scottish Highlands in Moray, are looking for an urgent temporary live in nanny whilst they continue their search for a full time nanny. Ideally you should be immediately available and able to stay for a minimum of 2 weeks, but ideally 1 month.
Family Background
A family of 4, the parents have two lovely daughters aged 4 and 2. They are looking for that caring and kind nanny to join their family home. They have two stunning properties and large gardens, perfect for the children and you to play around in and all facilities in and around the house are available for your use. Weekend shopping trips are also a perk with the job. The family love water sports and own jet skis and power boats. The father hobbies include flying helicopters and planes so a trip sightseeing this way is possibility too.
Duties
Your duties would be to help to get the girls ready in the mornings – dressing and breakfast. Getting them to nursery and school (therefore, a driving license is essential) and picking them up at the end of the day. That’s at 3pm for the older and 5pm for younger girl until January when she will go to the nursery attached to the school. You will also be required to bathe or shower the girls and get them ready for bed after their dinner. Reading them bedtime stories and keeping them entertained and away from Ipads is important to the family. Someone who can get them involved in learning games would be ideal.
Other duties include some light housework. The family have a cleaner come in once a week. Washing and ironing the children's clothes would be part of your role
Location/Accommodation
The family is located in the beautiful highlands in Scotland. They have two big properties in Moray, one by the sea in Findhorn and a 5 bed house, all en-suite bedrooms, just outside a small town called Elgin. Accommodation in this role will be provided, you would have your own bedroom with en-suite and TV on both properties.
Days/Hours
4 days a week and 1 day at alternative weekend. Hours are 07:00-10:00 and then 15:00-20:30. These times might vary during holidays.
Languages
You should speak an excellent level of English.
Special Skills
You must have experience as a nanny, and have a full driving licence. You should be an active, enthusiastic nanny with a passion for children and the outdoor lifestyle.
Package Offered
£350-500 net per week. All food, a car and accommodation and any travel with the family is included.
Interviews/Start Date
ASAP - the family are currently recruiting for a full time nanny and wish to take their time for this search. Therefore you should be available immediately to cover a temporary role of between 2 weeks and up to 1 month (with flexibility to extend if required)
