An international British / Swiss family with two young daughters are looking for a new live in, full time Nanny/Housekeeper to join their busy household. This role is 70% nanny tasks and 30% housekeeping including laundry and cooking for the girls. You must speak Tagalog to be able to communicate with the other members of staff. This is an amazing salary role.
Background
This is an international British/Swiss family with two lovely daughters aged 1.5 and 2.5. They roughly spend 6 month in New York, 3 months in London and will travel around the world for the remaining 3 months. They have a fully staffed household, however depending on location full staff might not be available – therefore everyone is expected to be very flexible in their approach, helping out in the household wherever needed including cleaning, ironing and cooking - besides childcare.
Duties
- General care of children
- Playing and entertaining the children's
- Cleaning the children area and toys
- Preparing the children for nursery and activities
- Constantly keep the children area organized
- Cooking for the children
- Helping with food preparation
- Preparing and bathing the children every evening
- Cleaning the Bathroom after bath time
- Potty training
- Occasionally kitchen washing up, empty and load the dishwasher
- Packing and unpacking bags when traveling for the whole family
- Laundry: Ironing & Washing clothes
Location
The family are based in London and New York with active travel to the rest of the world. The main basis is both New York and London however this is a travelling position meaning you will be expected to travel with the family. This is a live in role so the family provide a bedroom and bathroom for you at their locations. At some occasional hotels or holiday homes you might be sharing a bedroom with the children.
Days/Hours
5,5 days working from 8am – 8pm on weekdays with a 2 hours break split during the day. There is an option to do less hours for a lower salary pro rata.
Languages
You should speak an excellent level of English, a second language would be a plus.
Special Skills
You must have experience as a nanny and housekeeper in private households. You most be fit, active and well presented. You must have a European, Australian/NZ or North American passport for the travel required. You must speak Tagalog.
Package Offered
Up to £700 net p/w depending on background and experience. This is £49K gross per year. You will get 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays.
Interview/Start date
The family is interviewing from December this year and employment will start once they have found the right person.
