A lovely family based in Cheshire SK9, are looking for a new, long-term live in housekeeper to join their family home.  You should speak fluent Tagalog to apply for this role.

Family Background

A mother and father, with grown children, they have a five bedroom house in Cheshire.  They also have a six building garage which has been converted over the years into additional accommodation for the live in housekeeper, a utilities room and a gym.  The children, although grown and independent do still live at the house, but leave early and come back late to the property.  The youngest daughter is 17 and she is just about to graduate.  The husband works long hours and travels regularly, and the mother is at home, but busy with her own diary and schedule.  They do not have any pets.  Although it is a big house, it is a quiet house, with the family rarely entertaining.  However they do have an extended family and the extended family will often visit.

Duties

You will be in charge of the housekeeping on a daily basis.  You should be honest, loyal and trustworthy and looking for a long-term position.  You should be friendly and warm, flexible in your approach.  You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping, and you'll also be asked to do light/healthy cooking from time to time, but you don't need to be an experienced cook as the mother is happy to teach you.  The mother has been quite poorly recently, with some back and neck issues, so you'll be around to lend a hand with her duties, and make her a cup of tea throughout the day.  There will be no travel with this role.

Location/Accommodation

The family live in Cheshire SK9 . This is a live in role, with beautiful private/separate accommodation provided on the family estate.  The family are moving house in the next year, but the new property will again have separate accommodation for the staff member.

Days/Hours

You will be working Monday - Friday.  7:30am to 7:30pm, with regular breaks.  If you are happy to consider working on Saturday this would be a bonus, but the family are happy with five or six days for work, flexibility is key.

Languages

You should speak a good level of English.  You should speak fluent Tagalog.

Special Skills

You do not need to be able to drive.  If you do drive then access to a car can be provided.

Package Offered

  • Fully employed with accommodation and use of a car if you drive.
  • They will be able to pay between £300-450net a week / £17K - £30K gross per year depending on experience.
