A busy family near Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 are looking for a full time Tagalog speaking Housekeeper to help care for their beautiful home. This is live out role so you must be able to easily commute to the property. You must speak Tagalog to apply for this role.
Package Offered
- £35,000 - £50,000 gross per year depending on experience
Family Background
The family comprises of friendly parents with three grown up children, two sons and a daughter. They do not have any pets. The parents work long hours and travel often. The whole family enjoys travel and are regularly away from home. The family home is a beautiful five bedroom house with four bathrooms set across two floors. Their previous housekeeper has sadly relocated to a different area. The client also employs a PA who works in the family office and a security team.
Duties
You should be confident with all daily & deep housekeeping duties and be able to clean and care for the home to a five star standard. You will be responsible for the upkeep of the household and ensure it is always tidy and presentable. The successful candidate should have strong initiative and an eye for detail. Duties include all housekeeping tasks such as laundry, ironing, unpacking the groceries, changing beds, and cleaning the bathrooms & kitchen. The successful candidate will prepare the home for their principals when they return home from their travels, ensuring the kitchen is stocked with groceries and unpacking their luggage. It is important that you have a positive and can-do attitude. You must be happy following instructions and as the family travel often, you must be motivated and happy to work independently.
The successful candidate will be happy to run errands like going grocery shopping, to the post office, or dry cleaners, as needed. You may occasionally be asked to drive the principals to and from the airport. You should be confident welcoming contractors to the property, such as window cleaners and maintenance people.
You should be happy to cook for the family, cooking healthy family dinners. This is not essential, but it would be a nice bonus if you could cook.
Location
The house is in Wilmslow Cheshire, SK9. This is live out role.
Days/Hours
- Working 40 hours per week
- From Monday – Friday, 10am – 6pm with a 1 hour lunch break
- You should be happy to be flexible and work extra hours or on weekend days on occasion, when agreed upon in advance
- You will either be paid or given back as time in lieu for any overtime worked
Languages
You must speak Tagalog and a good level of English to apply for this role.
Special Skills
You should have good experience working as a housekeeper in a private household. You should have an eye for detail and a warm & positive attitude.
