A friendly family based in Hampstead, NW3, are looking for a new, long-term warm and kind live out Spanish speaking nanny to join their family.

- £36,500 - £43,000 gross per year
- Full contract/employed by the family.
- 20 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday.
Family Background
The mother and father are both professionals, and they have a lovely five year old boy, and a new 9 week old baby girl. They have had a Spanish nanny for the last three years, and their son is now fluent in Spanish and English. Due to personal reasons she is re-locating back to Spain, and they are keen to find someone who is equally lovely, warm and passionate about childcare to come and work for their family for many years to come. They live in a beautiful home in Hampstead, and have a French Bulldog. They have a housekeeper who attends the property, so the nannies duties are fully focused around the children.
Duties
Your duties will be fully focused on the two children. The parents take the five year old to school each day, and you would be in charge of the baby whilst the parents are at work, or the son is at school. You should be confident with babies, able to help them grow and develop, and be confident with the different stages including weaning, potty training etc. You'll then pickup the son from school, and take him to activities, such as swimming, piano etc. A big focus for the five year old (and the baby being exposed to the language) is to integrate fun and stimulating learning games in Spanish. The five year old is fluent and can read and write in Spanish, and the parents want this to continue, and also for the baby to learn. In the evening you'll be an extra pair of hands with the parents, helping with bath time and the bed routine. You should be fun, patient, and most importantly have a lovely of children and their development and education. Keen to help the family and their children develop the Spanish, but also become an integral part of the family. Ideally you should have an interest in education, or a background in teaching, able to identify learning patterns and help with development of the language. You should be easy-going and willing to get stuck in to family life and routine. You should be well organised and flexible, and looking for a long-term position.
Location
This is a live out role, you should be able to easily commute to Hampstead, NW3, London
Days/Hours
- 5 days a week. Monday - Friday. With flexibility for babysitting when agreed in advance.
- Monday - 8am - 6 or 7pm.
Languages
You must speak a good level of English and fluent Spanish (spoken, written and reading) as the little boy is learning both languages. The parents do not speak Spanish so your English must be good enough to communicate.
Special Skills
Spanish language is required, and you should be comfortable around dogs.
Interview/Start date
ASAP, their current nanny leaves in October, but they are keen to start meeting people and doing a handover.
