A professional family based in Barnes, London SW13 with two children aged 5 & 7 are looking for a new long-term nanny for their eldest child. A driving licence isn’t required but is preferred.

Family Background
The family live in a beautiful property in Barnes, London. The father is a professional, working in central London, and is Scottish. The mum is Swedish and is involved in many social activities in and out of the house. They have two children aged five and seven. The family are looking for a nanny for their eldest child who has just been diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD. The family has one miniature dachshund dog. They currently hire a personal assistant, housekeepers and are looking to hire a full-time chef as well.
Duties
You should be a professional, caring nanny who is happy to focus on educational development and fun activities for the 7-year-old as he grows. You will be working with the eldest child who has just been diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD, so you must have 1:1 experience working with children with these specific SENs.
You may be expected to accompany the eldest child to school for the odd morning to sit with him during his lessons and be there to help him. You will also oversee his medication and making sure he takes them at the set times.
The parents want the focus to be on ensuring that the children are happy, healthy, and loved. You should be comfortable taking directions from mum. You should be flexible and just willing to lend an extra pair of hands and essentially act as the boy’s ‘buddy’.
The family tend to travel through the school holidays so you must be happy to travel along with them.
The little boy is playful and energetic so you must be active, happy to plan fun and educational activities.
Location
This is a live out role. The family home is in Barnes, London SW13.
Days/Hours
- Working from Monday to Friday,
- During term time you will be working from 11:00am – 19:00/20:00pm
- During holidays you will be working from 9:00am – 19:00pm
- Hours will be discussed with the individual as there can be some flexibility around this.
Languages
You should speak a fluent level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You should be flexible and be willing to get fully involved in family life. Experience as an SEN Nanny is required.
