A professional family who live in the West Midlands are looking for a new, long-term experienced Rota Nanny to look after their three children, all under the age of 9. You must have a driving licence to apply for this role.
Package Offered
- £55,000 - £75,000 gross per year
- Rota position (2 weeks on 2 weeks off)
- Live in accommodation will be provided for your working weeks
Family Background
A professional family who live in the West Midlands. They have three children who are under 9 years old and a fully staffed household, including a Butler/Driver and a Housekeeper/Cook. They are looking for an experienced Rota Nanny who has great experience working in a formal household with multiple children. The family have no pets. They travel regularly so you should be happy to travel with them for this role.
Duties
All childcare duties as associated with the 3 children, including helping with arranging activities, taking them to clubs and activities. You should be confident in creating structure and routine and be on top of the children’s schedules at all times. You should be able to help the children with any homework, but also allowing the children to relax and play and unwind.
The family have a long-term housekeeper/nanny who lives with the family and you should be able to easily get along with them, work as a team and not be afraid to follow instructions. They also have another rota nanny who will do handovers with you between shifts. You should be able to ensure that you can take over from the other nannies and then handover back to them – keeping good records of activities and progress of the children.
The family are down to earth, and enjoy a good and positive teamwork environment amongst the household staff.
Location/Accommodation
The new family home is in the West Midlands. This is a Rota role and you will live in during your 2 working weeks. You will have private accommodation on the same floor as the children’s bedrooms.
Days/Hours
- 2 weeks on 2 weeks off
- During your two weeks on you will work 7am-7pm but will be expected to be on call overnight should the children need your assistance.
Languages
You should have an excellent level of English. Any other languages are a bonus.
Special Skills
You should be an experienced and enthusiastic nanny, with a positive attitude. You should have experience in working for high net worth, formal households. You should have a driving licence to apply for this role.
