A family of four based in Knightsbridge, SW1, are looking for a temporary Chef for a three-month placement. The first few weeks of the role will be based in Toronto before the family returns to London. This is a live-out role. You will be provided with accommodation and a car in Toronto for the duration of the stay. Flights and travel arrangements will be fully taken care of.

Family Background
The couple have two young children, a friendly dog and are based between Toronto and London. They mostly enjoy eating in the comfort of their own home and enjoy a range of cuisines, though they typically stick to a vegan or majoritively plant-based diet. They are looking for a professional personal chef with excellent domestic experience for this position, that may extend to full time employment.
Duties
The ideal candidate will be tasked with producing lunch and dinner for the family each day as well as leaving the fridge and larder stocked with produce and meals for when the chef is away. The family enjoy eating a range of flavours and cuisines each week with an emphasis on plant-based dishes made with ethically sourced organic produce. As such, experience catering for vegan meals is a must. Both properties have fully equipped kitchens and any extra equipment needed can be provided. The couple do not tend to entertain or host dinner parties often so this is not a requirement of the position, though should they be hosting a dinner party on an evening, flexibility to cater in person is expected.
The successful candidate will be flown to Toronto to meet with the family and cater for them there, provided with accommodation and a car. In October / early November, the candidate will be flown back to London ahead of the clients' return, in order to prepare the kitchen and order produce.
