A professional family with two young children living in Chester, CH2, are looking for a part-time, kind and flexible rota nanny to join their family home. This is a live-in position during the week you work.
Package Offered
• £35,000 - £40,000 gross per year depending on experience
• A separate, fully furnished annexe with private entrance.
Family Background
The family are a professional family, with the parents working full-time and both travel regularly for work. They enjoy the outdoors and the ideal nanny will be able to get stuck in with the children outside and encourage games and learning away from screens.
They have a housekeeper who comes regularly to the property to do the regular cleaning, washing, ironing and deep cleaning. They are keen to find a long-term nanny who can become a valued member of their family for many years to come.
Duties
All childcare duties as associated with the children including helping with arranging playdates, running errands and sorting anything out that is relevant to the little ones. The ideal candidate will be very well organised and able to use their initiative to create plans, organise trips and liaise with other parents / the school / nursery as needed. You'll oversee their rooms, bathroom, laundry and clothes and also be required to cook simple, healthy meals as needed.
You should be confident with both sole charge and shared charge as the parents enjoy being involved (when they can with their work) and you should be happy to become a great team with them. Flexibility is key, as the parents both have demanding jobs - so you should be able to support the family in all areas. Ideally, you should love the outdoors and if you love horses this is a bonus (but not required!) You should be willing to get stuck into family life and happy to lend a hand to a busy family home.
Location/Accommodation
The family live in Chester, CH2. The family are looking for a rota nanny, working one week on and one week off. (live in during the week that you work).
Days/Hours
Working Monday - Sunday, 7am - 7pm. With the flexibility to do babysitting if needed.
Languages
You should have a good level of English. Any other languages are a bonus.
Special Skills
You should be an experienced and enthusiastic nanny, with a positive attitude. Driving is essential.
