A lovely family of four in Stoke Newington, N16, are looking for a new part-time nanny. This is a live-out role so you must be able to easily commute to the property.
Package Offered
- £18 - £20 gross per hour depending on experience
- Working 3pm – 7pm, 4 hours a day
- Working either 4 or 5 days a week, Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday if you choose 4 days
Family Background
A busy family of four are now looking for a new, long-term Nanny for their two children. The family have a daughter aged 8 and a son aged 6 and you must be comfortable around animals for this role as the family have a friendly Norfolk Terrier.
Duties
The ideal candidate will be experienced and reliable, responsible for taking charge of the children after school, allowing the parents to work and complete other tasks at home.
The role includes collecting the children from school at 3:15pm and as such you must have a driving licence for this position. You should be willing to keep the children’s areas clean and tidy - although you won't have to do cleaning, you should be organised and tidy, with a great attitude. You should be happy to tidy up after the children, putting away their toys and school books.
You should also be happy to cook and prepare food for the children, they are not fussy eaters. You must also be able to help them with their homework, making sure that it gets completed as well as helping them in areas when they get stuck.
The role requires generally caring and helping the two children in the afternoon / early evening, Alongside preparing their supper and helping with homework, you should be able to keep them occupied and entertained before preparing them for bed, ensuring that they’ve had a bath and put on their pyjamas.

The family are located in Stoke Newington, London, N16. This is live out role so you must be able to easily commute to the property.
Days/Hours
- Working 16 / 20 hours over 4 / 5 days per week, Monday - Friday.
- Working 4 hours each day, from 3pm – 7pm.
- With flexibility expected over holidays.
Languages
You must speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You should have experience working as a nanny in private households. You should be a happy and proactive person, looking to get involved with family life. You must be passionate about children and be looking for a long-term role. You must possess a driving licence.
