A lovely family of four near Maida Vale, London, NW10 are looking for a part-time nanny/housekeeper. This is a live-out role so you must be able to easily commute.
Package Offered
- £16 - £20 gross per hour depending on experience
- Working 5 mornings per week (Monday - Friday)
- Working from 8am – 1pm (or preferably 7:45am-12:45pm)
Family Background
This family comprises of lovely parents and their two young children, a 3 year old boy, and a 1 year old girl. They are looking for a positive and friendly nanny/housekeeper to help them with the upkeep of their 4 bedroom home near Maida Vale, and to assist with childcare duties. The family have no pets.
Duties
The role is focused on assisting the mum with taking care of the children, and undertaking the housekeeping. You will be responsible for cleaning up after the children's breakfast, tidying away toys, the children's laundry, and helping to manage the family home. You must be happy to be a spare pair of hands, with a strong eye for detail, reliability, and punctuality. You should have excellent initiative and like to get on with things.
Experience in looking after small children and babies is essential. The successful candidate will have experience working with young children as the role will primarily be as a Nanny to the 1 year old little girl and sometimes for the 3 year old little boy. This will include light cooking, food preparation, making bottles of milk, changing and feeding them, and playing etc. The little girl has allergies and carries an epi-pen, so if you have first aid training and prior experience with this, that would be a plus.
On occasions, you should be happy to run some errands, collect parcels, or similar tasks.
Location
The family is based near Maida Vale, London, NW10. You should be able to commute easily. This is a live-out role.
Days/Hours
- Working 5 mornings per week (Monday - Friday)
- Working from 8am – 1pm
- Babysitting once or twice a month in the evenings, paid as overtime and agreed in advance
Languages
You should speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You should be a skilled nanny/housekeeper and experience in looking after small children and babies is essential. If you can drive, this would be a bonus. The little girl has allergies and carries an epi-pen, so if you have first aid training and prior experience with this, that would be a plus.
