A lovely family of three who live in Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 are looking for a part-time Nanny to help the parents with the toddler. This is a live out role. You must live within an easily commutable distance.
Package Offered
- £25 - £30+ gross per hour depending on experience, with some wiggle room for very experienced candidates
- Working two days each week, Monday and Thursday
- 9am - 5pm (Monday and Thursday)
Family Background
A warm, personable and friendly family who live in a beautiful home in Windsor have a new baby who is now a wonderful 17 months old. Mum is now going back to work in January and as such needs support with her toddler whilst she is at work. The father also works full time. They have a lovely modest home, with a nice small garden and no pets. They are keen to find someone who can support them in providing a nurturing and loving environment long term and grow with their family and child.
Duties
The family follow a child-led Montessori approach at home. You should be flexible and willing to lend an extra pair of hands and be confident with both shared and sole charge of the toddler when the parents are at work. You should be passionate about children's development and learning. Candidates with training/qualifications or experience in pre-school/nursery will be looked on favourably.
You must be confident with all aspects of nanny duties for the 17 month old girl. The toddler is very active and loves to play and learn. You will be focused on rotating and setting up attractive play/learning activities to keep her engaged. Other duties include food preparation, changing and dressing, keeping the play area clean and tidy, but you don't need to do any specific housework. You should be comfortable with music and movement and involving the toddler in practical life tasks whereever possible.

- Working two days each week, Monday and Thursday
- 9am - 5pm (Monday and Thursday)
- You should be happy to do occasional overtime hours, such as babysitting or extra time if needed, this would always be agreed in advance and will be given as time in lieu
Languages
You should speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You should have experience looking after children of this age range, especially toddlers. You should be flexible and be willing to get fully involved in family life, with a keen interest in children’s development and education.
