A lovely family of five who live in Richmond, London, TW9 are looking for a new part time Nanny to help mum with the children. This is a live out role. You must live within an easily commutable distance.
Package Offered
- £20 - £25 gross per hour depending on experience
- Working 22.5 hours each week
- Working Monday - Friday, from 3pm to 7:30pm

A friendly family who live in Richmond, London, are looking for a new part-time nanny. In the family is the mother, father, and their three boys who are 1 year old, 6 years old, and 8 years old. The family also hires a housekeeper/cook. They are a lovely, down-to-earth family and they have no pets in the household.
Duties
The family follows the Montessori method at home, so if you have knowledge of this, or if you have a degree and childcare qualifications, that would be beneficial. You should be flexible and willing to lend an extra pair of hands. You should be confident around children, and passionate about children's development and learning. You should be confident with both shared and sole charge.
You must be confident with all aspects of nanny duties for the three children. You should be happy to work alongside the mother in looking after the children. The mother feels thinly spread and so an extra pair of hands is a great help, the main focus of the role will be supporting the mum with the toddler, thus allowing her time to assist the older children with their homework etc. The nanny must be happy to undertake any housekeeping that pertains to the children, i.e tidying the playroom, tidying their bedrooms, doing the children's laundry etc.
The successful candidate will be confident in assisting with feeding the 1 year old, the food will be already prepared by the housekeeper/cook. It is important that you feel confident in arranging stimulating activities for the toddler, and in taking part in engaging play with him. You will be responsible for setting up the playroom in the Montessori style, with toys being rotated daily. An interest in education and extracurricular activities is a must! You will be attending to his needs including the evening bathtime routine, reading to him, and settling him into bed for his 7pm bedtime.
During the school holidays, there may be the opportunity for you to travel with the family and work extra hours.

- Working Monday - Friday, from 3pm to 7:30pm
- You should be happy to do occasional overtime hours, this would be agreed in advance and will be given as time in lieu
Languages
You should speak English fluently to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You should have experience looking after children of this age range, especially toddlers. You should be flexible and be willing to get fully involved in family life, with a keen interest in children’s development and education. Preferably you would have a degree and childcare qualifications such as Montessori Qualifications or be a Newly Qualified Norland Nanny (NQN).
