A friendly family of four residing in Hammersmith, London, W6 are looking for a flexible, organised, and kind-hearted nanny to help care for their two children and helping around the home. This is a live out role. You must live within an easily commutable distance.
Package Offered
- £18 - £20 gross per hour depending on experience
- Working 25 hours per week over four or five days
- Working 5 hours between 12pm – 7pm (Flexible)
Family Background
This friendly family comprises of parents and their two children, the eldest boy aged 7 years and a baby boy. The family live in a beautiful 4 bed house with 3.5 floors and 3 bathrooms, situated near the lovely waterfront scenery of West London. They also employ a cleaner who visits once a week to perform deep cleaning of the home.
Duties
The family is eager to find a kind-hearted and responsible nanny who is also happy to help maintain and care for the home when the cleaner is not there. The successful candidate will be bright and energetic, confident working with children and babies. You will be able to lend an extra pair of hands, assisting the mum with the baby boy as needed.
You will be required to pick up the eldest boy from school most days, which is a 1 hour and a half round trip from home, and help him prepare his uniform or sports kit for the next day.
You must also be able to be creative and arrange fun activities for the children such as play dates, trips to the park and museums. You should be happy to run errands if needed (visiting the shops, dry cleaners, and the post office, etc.).
The successful candidate will be confident in the kitchen as you will be batch cooking once or twice a week. You should have an interest in cooking healthy, balanced meals from scratch and be confident cooking vegetarian meals such as lentil or vegetable stews with rice. You will be responsible for family laundry, daily maintenance of a tidy home, children's wardrobes, and watering the plants.
