A friendly family of four in Vienna, Austria are looking for a lovely part time Nanny to join their family unit.
Background
This is a friendly, warm and intelligent family. The mother is from Israel and the father is Canadian. Both work full time. They have a 1 year old daughter and a little boy who is 2.5 years old. The little girl and boy are at kindergarten full time. They have re-located to Austria around 6 months ago. They want someone warm, friendly and interested in childhood development. Vienna is a stunning city and friendly place to work and live with a great culture and vibe. They have a cleaner who attends the property and they do not have any pets. Due to the amazing location of the property you do not need to drive.
Duties
Both parents work full time so you would have sole charge of the children. The schedule would be roughly:
13:00-14:30: arrive at the property. There will not be anyone home. Help the family around the house – whether it’s a bit of laundry, some cooking for the kids, arranging their room or preparing dinner for the family. A different thing every day depending on what’s needed
14:45 – go to pick up the little girl from Kindergarten
15:00-16:00 play with the little girl at the park next to the house or kindergarten
16:45 – pick up the son from the same kindergarten and come home with both children
Prepare dinner for the children or play with them until the parents arrive at 18:00.
The family have a cleaner so you will be solely focused on the children and the duties around them. They eat healthy and fresh food so you should enjoy cooking and be happy to help out the parents with fresh cooking for the children.
Location/Accommodation
Vienna, Austria in the fourth district. This is a live out role.
Days/Hours
Monday to Friday 13:00-18:00 (5 hours each day, 25 hour week)
Languages
The family speak English, so you must be able to speak a good standard of English to the children. The family also speak German, French and Hebrew, but they don't want other languages spoken to the children, so you must speak fluently one of these languages
Special Skills
Flexibility is key. There may be opportunity to travel and extra hours here and there (paid with overtime).
Package Offered
Between €10-11 per hour offered depending on the candidate experience and background.
