A friendly British couple, due their first child based in Hampstead, Surrey, are looking for a part time housekeeper.
A busy family, the husband works long, full time hours and the mother is busy with her projects and schedule each week. They have just had their first baby who is now 10 days old, and the family are settling back into life and routine with their new born baby. It's a modest property with two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, living room study and hallway. They have a current cleaner who comes once a week, and they are looking for an extra pair of hands. They are therefore looking for a new, long-term part time housekeeper to join their family.
As a live out part time housekeeper, the family would require you to be an extra pair of hands one or two afternoons a week. General tidying up, ironing, laundry and cooking. Due to mum sometimes being out and about, you should be child friendly and happy to assist now and then with the baby if the mum has to pop out for any reason. You should therefore understand children and be comfortable around them. If you have a driving licence you might also be asked to run errands, go to the shops/post office etc. What's important for this family is that you are a valued member of the household. Their last housekeeper was part of the family, and they are looking for a long term housekeeper. You should be pro-active with good initiative and be able to help manage and maintain the household. The family are low key and easy going - and are just keen to find that extra support they can call on.
The family home is in Hampstead, this is a live out role. You should be local and able to easily commute.
Either Tuesday or Friday, 4-5 hours in the afternoon. In time the family might want to up to two days a week, but at the first you'll come one day a week.
You should speak a good level of English.
Driving is not required, but if you drive this would be a bonus.
Between £10-16net per hour.
The family is interviewing now for start ASAP.
