A friendly family of 5 based near Muswell Hill, London, N22 are looking for a new long term, part-time housekeeper to assist them with the upkeep of their home. The family have three children who are 14, 12 and 11 and have no pets in the house but lots of house plants! They do not have any other staff in the house.
Duties
Your role will be focused on the daily and deep cleaning of the household, including hoovering, dusting, and general cleaning of the whole house. Cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, living and bedroom areas and ensuring the house is kept to high standards. Care of indoor plants and keeping them watered and fed. You will be responsible for the laundry and ironing and changing bedding. You won’t need to do any childcare or school runs but you should be child friendly and happy to watch the children when mum pops out.
A good attitude, approach and eye for detail, with a willingness to be flexible and assist with the household duties as required.
Location
This is a live out position and the family live near Muswell Hill, London, N22. You should be able to easily commute to the property.
Days/Hours
- Working Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3pm to 7pm
- Actual working hours are flexible and can be discussed
- 12 hours per week
- Occasional overtime and babysitting as agreed in advance
Languages
You must speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You should have great housekeeping experience. You should be able to work independently and use your own initiative. If you drive and can help with school pick ups this would be a bonus, but not required. A car can be provided if you do not have one.
