A HNW client who lives in Knightsbridge, London, SW3 is looking for a new, long term housekeeper to join his family home.
Package Offered
- £14-18 net per hour / £16-24 gross per hour
- 20 days plus 8 days bank holiday
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 1pm each day (20 hours per week).
Family Background
A male principal who re-located many years ago from Italy to London, is looking for a new, long-term housekeeper to join his staff. He has had for many years two long-term housekeepers, but one of the housekeepers is due to retire, and he is therefore keen to find a new, long-standing staff member for his beautiful property in Knightsbridge. He has a housekeeper who will attend in the afternoon for additional duties. He is single, with no children or pets, but his mother regularly visits and stays at his home. His beautiful property is split over five floors.
Duties
The role will be involving the highest level of laundering and ironing - you should be extremely capable and confident in these areas. Skilled with wardrobe management and care of fine linen and clothing. You should also be confident polishing silver, and understand high end furniture and fine art as the property is furnished to a high standard. Your role will be to attend the kitchen and dining area in the morning, and then get the master suite ready, including stripping the beds, ironing and laundry. The housekeeper who attends in the afternoon focuses more on the hoovering, dusting etc, but you should be happy and able to do these skills if required. There is no driving required. Occasional cooking if the principal is home for any reason, and you are happy to prepare a simple soup, but this won't be regularly required. Most importantly you should have an eye for detail and be happy to stay long-term in the role.
Location
This is a live out position and the principal is based in Knightsbridge, London, SW3. You should be able to easily commute to the property.
Days/Hours
Monday to Friday, 9am to 1pm each day (20 hours per week).
Languages
You must speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You should be highly skilled in laundry and clothing care, and be excellent at ironing.
