A busy family of three, who are based near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, OX7 are looking for a part time housekeeper to work in their home. You must be able to drive for this role. Package Offered
- £16 - £20 gross per hour depending on experience
- Working 15 hours per week
A friendly family, with a six-year-old girl, are now looking for a new, long-term part-time housekeeper. Both parents work full time, with the wife working from home and the husband working in London three days a week, and two days at home. They live in a beautiful new four-bedroom, three-bathroom property. They are a busy family, with the daughter at school, they are keen to find a new long-term housekeeper to join their family home to maintain the property and help look after the daughter. The family own a beloved Whippet so you must be happy around animals for this role.
You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard, with great attention to detail. You will be responsible for the daily cleaning of the household and ensure it is always tidy and presentable. Making beds, cleaning bathrooms, organising and cleaning the kitchen, and generally keeping all areas of the house clean and organised. You will be responsible for the family’s wardrobe management, ensuring all laundry & ironing is up to date.
You should be happy to run the occasional errands to the post office and dry cleaners. You must be happy to pick up the daughter from school as needed.
You should enjoy cooking and be happy to cook for the daughter, preparing healthy home cooked meals as needed. You should also be happy to help with afterschool childcare, and occasional babysitting and proxy parenting. During the school holidays you should be happy to look after the daughter, taking her to activities and playdates and help with the bedtime routine.
The main family home is near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, OX7 This is a live-out role and you must be able to easily commute to the property.
- Working 2 full days a week, from 12pm - 6pm, and one shorter day in the week from 3pm - 6pm. The family is flexible as to which days are worked.
- With flexibility expected over the school holidays, with overtime being paid in addition.
- Working 15 hours per week.
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
You must be highly organised and have great attention to detail in relation to housekeeping. You should be looking for a long-term role.
