A lovely family of four are looking for a part-time housekeeper to help look after and manage their five-bedroom property in central Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, CB1. The role is live out and you must be able to commute easily to the property.
Package Offered
- £18 - £25 gross per hour depending on experience
- Working 15 hours split over 3-5 days each week
Family Background
The family lives in a beautiful, spacious five-bedroom, four-bathroom property in central Cambridge, CB1. The family consists of two children, aged eleven and eight. They also own a beloved Staffordshire terrier so you must be happy around dogs for this role. The family regularly travel and have a dog sitter who cares for the dog whilst they are away. The family also hire a nanny and a gardener.
Duties
You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard, with great attention to detail. You will be responsible for the daily and deep cleaning of the household and ensure it is always tidy and presentable. Making beds, cleaning bathrooms, organising and cleaning the kitchen, and generally keeping all areas of the house clean and organised. You will be responsible for the family’s wardrobe management, ensuring all laundry & ironing is up to date.
You should be happy to run errands such as trips to the post office, dry cleaners and grocery shopping. You should be confident in dealing with contractors that visit the property, including maintenance people and window cleaners.
Whilst this role is mainly housekeeping based, if you are happy to babysit or cook occasionally, this is a bonus but not a requirement.
Location
The family live near central Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, CB1. This is live-out role so you must be able to easily commute to the property.

Languages
You must speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You should be experienced at housekeeping and have an excellent eye for detail.
