A lovely family are looking for a part-time housekeeper to help with their family home near Grange Park, North London, EN2. This is a live out role so you must be able to easily commute to the property.
Package Offered
- £16 - £22 gross per hour depending on experience
- Working Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
- Working from 8:30am to 4:30pm
Family Background
This family comprises of parents and their 4 year old little girl, and their pet cat. The family home is situated in North London and is decorated with beautiful luxury furnishings, including wood floors and marble. The house has seven beautiful bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. The home is spread over four floors. They currently employ window cleaners and a pool maintenance service.
Duties
The successful candidate should have strong initiative and an eye for detail. It is essential that you are happy and confident to follow the cleaning schedules provided. You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to care for the home to a 5* standard, cleaning the house top to bottom. The house has luxury furnishings, so you should be confident in handling marble, nickel and brass etc (and the accompanying specialist products).
You will be responsible for the daily and deep cleaning of the house and ensure it is tidy and presentable. Making beds, cleaning bathrooms and the kitchens, tidying up toys, and generally overseeing all areas of the house. You should be very confident in wardrobe management, taking care of the laundry and ironing for the family. There is a keen focus on the wardrobe management, it is vital that you understand how to care for delicate items such as suits, wool, silk, lace, and cashmere etc.
You should be happy to collect parcels, pop to the dry cleaners, or do similar tasks. The successful candidate will make shopping lists to ensure the home is fully stocked at all times, you will also ensure the pool house is stocked during the summer months.
You should be confident in liaising with contractors, including window cleaners and arranging pool servicing.
Location
The family live near Grange Park, North London, EN2. You should be able to commute easily. This is a live-out role.
Days/Hours
- Working Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
- Working from 8:30am to 4:30pm
- Working 24 hours per week, over 3 days
- You should be happy to do occasional overtime hours, this would be agreed in advance and will either be paid or given as time in lieu
Languages
You should speak fluent English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You should be a skilled 5* standard housekeeper, with experience handling luxury furnishings and delicate wardrobe management.
