A lovely family are looking for a part-time housekeeper to help them clean and manage their 4-bedroom property in Watford, Hertfordshire, WD6. The role is live out and you must be able to commute easily to the property with your own car.
Package Offered
- £16 - £20 gross per hour depending on experience
- Working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
- Working 20 hours per week, 8am-1pm with some flexibility for the right candidate
Family Background
The family lives in a beautiful, spacious 4-bedroom house in Watford, Hertfordshire, WD6. They are a family of four, with two children aged 7 & 9 years old. They are a busy family, with both parents working some days from home and some days in London during the week. The family has no pets, and they currently employ a gardener.
Duties
Your duties include all the housekeeping in the property. You will be responsible for doing all laundry, ironing, cleaning and vacuuming, organising, and changing beds.
You should be happy to run errands from time to time as needed, visiting the post office, dry cleaners, and supermarket. The family currently has their groceries ordered online and delivered weekly, you will be responsible for unpacking and organising the items. You will be responsible for dealing with tradespeople when required.
The principals require a light healthy vegetarian or vegan lunch prepared on the days they are working from home. Some batch cooking of vegan meals for one of the principals would be desirable and occasional food preparation for dinner for the other family members.
You must be able to assist with school drop-offs infrequently but as needed. Whilst this role is mainly housekeeping based, you should be happy to keep an eye out for the children on occasion.

The family lives in Watford, Hertfordshire, WD6, so you should own your own car and be within easy commuting distance.

Languages
You must speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You should be experienced at housekeeping and have an excellent eye for detail. You should be able to cook healthy plant-based meals.
