A family-based in Newbury, Berkshire, RG20, are looking for a long-term, live-out housekeeper for their family property. Due to the location, you should have your own car and drive.
Package Offered
- Working Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8am – 6pm - 30 hours per week.
- £16 - £20 gross an hour (depending on experience)
Family Background
A young family with two girls (aged 10 and 8) and a boy (aged 2 1/2) are looking for a new, long-term housekeeper to join their family home. They have a pet Labrador puppy so you must be animal friendly.
Duties
You should be skilled with housekeeping, with an eye for detail and an ability to go the extra mile to get the job done. You should be highly skilled in housekeeping, to manage and care for the property.
- Dusting and polishing furniture of the property including fixtures, light fittings, windows and ledges
- Cleaning and sanitising all bathrooms, countertops and sinks
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
- General upkeep of the whole housekeeping the property clean and tidy
- Tidying up of the children’s playroom
- Making beds and changing linen
- Ironing/laundry
- Vacuuming and cleaning floors/upholstery
- Cleaning the gym area
- Occasional childcare including cooking lunch / supper
Location
This is a live-out role in Newbury, Berkshire, RG20. You should be able to commute to the property easily.
Languages
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You should be highly organised with great attention to detail. Due to the location, you should have your own car and drive.
