A lovely family of four are looking for a part-time housekeeper to help them clean and manage their property near Inverleith, Edinburgh, EH3. The role is live out and you must be able to commute easily to the property.
Package Offered
• £16 - £20 gross per hour.
• 2 -3 visits per week.
• 12 – 18 hours per week.
Family Background
The family live in a beautiful 4-bedroom house in Warriston, Edinburgh, EH3. They are a family of four, with 9-year-old twins and a beloved French Bulldog so you must be happy to be around animals for this role. The family travel regularly so you must be happy to occasionally keep an eye on the house.
Duties
Your role will be focused on the daily and deep cleaning of the household, including hoovering, dusting, and general cleaning of the whole house. Cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, living and bedroom areas and ensuring the house is kept to high standards. Equipment used should be kept in good working order.
You will also be responsible for the family’s laundry, ironing and wardrobe management. You will ensure that the home is generally well presented and cared for.
You should also be happy to cook occasionally for the family in the evening. The family travel regularly so you must be happy to occasionally keep an eye on the house.
The successful candidate should have strong initiative and an eye for detail. You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard.
Location
The family live in near Inverleith, Edinburgh, EH3, so you should own your own car and be within easy commuting distance.
Days/Hours
• 2 -3 visits per week.
• 12 – 18 hours per week.
Languages
You must speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You should be experienced at housekeeping and have an excellent eye for detail.
