A professional family with 2 grown up children are looking for someone to help with the housekeeping of their 4-bedroom house in Chelsea. Their son resides on the lower ground floor of the property and their daughter is currently at university and returns home in the holidays. The family spend a lot of their time in the countryside so often there is only one person staying in the household. The property has 4 lovely bedrooms spread over 5 floors, so there are a lot of stairs to climb! Their current housekeeper has unfortunately recently fallen ill and is unable to return to work, so they are now looking for a new housekeeper to take over the role. They have no pets in the household, and driving is not required for this role. They are looking for someone who is cheerful, has a can-do attitude and who understands the importance of being discreet when working within a private household.
Duties
Your role will be the housekeeping within the property. You should be happy to help with household management as part of your daily duties. As the only housekeeper to attend the property, you'll be responsible for all of the deep cleaning and daily cleaning within the household. You should be confident with laundry and ironing and should be skilled in these areas. Occasionally you may need to take clothes to the dry cleaners and run other errands, however, you do not need to drive for this role. A five floor household, you should be fit and healthy as there are lots of stairs! You should have an excellent eye for detail, be experienced with all aspects of housekeeping, with good good common sense and the initiative to organise your own workload. Along with housekeeping you should be aware of household management, willing to tidy up and ensure everything goes back to where it 'lives' in the house. You should be warm and friendly and have a 'can-do' attitude.
Location
The family’s property is based in Chelsea, SW1, London so you should be within easy commuting distance to be able to get to the property on time for work each day. This is a live out role.

- 4 mornings per week/12 hours per week
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
- 9am – 12pm
Languages
You must speak a good level of English.
