A busy family based in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, HP9, are now looking for a new long-term part-time housekeeper to join their family home. This is a live out or flexi live in role but there is no option to live in during the weekend.
Package
- £15 - £18 gross per hour
- Ideally Monday, Wednesday and Friday
- Working ideally one full day and two half-days each week, total of 14-16 hours each week
- Helping out with the occasional evening babysitting.
Family Background
A busy family with two young children (aged 3 and 5 years) are looking for a part time housekeeper for their 7-bedroom home. The family have no pets in the household. They currently hire a full-time nanny and are now looking for a new, long-term housekeeper who can become a valued member of the family home. They live very close to Beaconsfield train station.
Duties
Being responsible for the daily and deep cleaning of the house and ensure it is always tidy and presentable. Making beds, cleaning bathrooms and all areas of the house. You will also be responsible for laundry and ironing for the 2 adults, and ensuring that the home is generally well presented and cared for. You will work on a cycle to deep clean other areas (e.g. oven, windows, external woodwork, patio and garage) occasionally.
The successful candidate should have strong initiative and an eye for detail. You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard. You should have excellent initiative and like to get on with things. The ideal candidate will be someone who is engaging and fun and is adept in housekeeping as well as comfortable around children. You should want a long term role.
You don't need to drive, as they live very close to the main train station, and thus is easy for you to run errands to the post office etc. However if you drive then you are welcome to commute to the property by car.
Location/Accommodation
The family are based in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, HP9. Live in during the week and live out at the weekend in a flat above the garage with a kitchen can be considered.
Hours
Ideally Monday, Wednesday and Friday (14 -16 hours per week). One full day 8am – 4pm and two half days. Flexible to help out with the occasional evenings for babysitting.
Special Skills
You must have previous experience working as a housekeeper. You should be a team player and be happy to assist with childcare duties.
