A warm and friendly family of four, based in Barnes, London, SW13 are looking for a part-time housekeeper to help them for one or two days per week. This is a live out role so you should be in an easily commutable distance.
Package Offered
- £16 - 18 gross per hour

A warm and down to earth family of four who live in a beautiful Victorian property in Barnes, London, SW13. The house has 5 bedrooms. They don't have pets. Both parents work in financial services and are working from home at the moment and the children are home schooling. The household is busy with everyone being at home so the family would prefer a housekeeper to come just one or two days per week. They have lots of fragile and high-end surfaces in their home (marble, special wood, granite, etc) so they are looking for someone who is experienced in working with luxury materials and knows how to care for them properly.
Duties
You will be in charge of the weekly housekeeping tasks in the family’s home, including Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures. Cleaning toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks. Clean the delicate fixtures and fittings (marble, special wood, granite, etc). Changing bed linens. Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors and taking care of the special wood floorings. Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry. Ironing clothes. Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies. Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces.
Location
The family live in Barnes, London, SW13 and this is a live-out role so you should be in easily commutable distance.
Days/Hours
Either one full day or two half-days per week. The family are open to discussion on which days you work but would prefer you to come as infrequently as possible (they would prefer one full day over two half days but are flexible with this). You will work 8 hours per week.
Languages
You should speak a good level of English
Special Skills
You should have good previous experience as a housekeeper and must have high attention to detail. You should be discreet and have good communication skills. You should be confident and knowledgeable in looking after luxury, high-end materials.
