A busy family are looking for a part-time housekeeper for their 6-bedroom house in Winchester, SO21, Hampshire. You must have a full driving license for this role – a car can be provided for work duties.

Family Background
A lovely family, who have two children, aged ten and eight years old. They live in a lovely six bedroom house in Winchester, with a beautiful garden and a swimming pool. They previously hired a nanny/housekeeper but now that the children are older, they are looking for someone who can focus on the housekeeping, with light childcare when needed.
Duties
You will be in charge of the daily upkeep and deep cleaning of the house and ensure it is always tidy and presentable. Making beds, cleaning kitchen & bathrooms, tidying up all areas of the house. You will also be very confident taking care of the laundry and ironing for the family. The successful candidate should have strong initiative and an eye for detail. You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard.
You should be happy to run some errands, light shopping, runs to the post office, and similar tasks. You should also be happy to liaise with the gardener and pool company.
You should be happy to help out with the children, mainly picking them up from school and babysitting occasionally.
You should also be happy to cook for the family, this won’t be every day but it would be great if you can help out in the kitchen!
Location
The family home is in Winchester, SO21, Hampshire. You should be in easily commutable distance and a car can be provided for work duties.
Days/Hours
- Monday – Friday afternoons/evenings
- From Monday to Thursday, the client requires you to work between the hours of 17:00-19:00, however the remainder of the hours are flexible
- You will be contracted for 25 hours per week, any additional hours will be paid as overtime
Languages
You should speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You should be an experienced and skilled housekeeper. You should be self-motivated will excellent communication skills.
