Part Time Housekeeper Required for Notting Hill

A lovely family with two young children are looking for a part time experienced Housekeeper to join their family in Notting Hill.

Background

The family have recently renovated their 4 bedroom Victorian property and are looking for someone to take on the responsibility for the care of their home, keeping it in top condition. The family have a springer spaniel dog and cat so someone who is animal friendly is really a must. The family also have a nanny who takes care of their children, but you would be responsible for a small amount of the children’s ironing.

Duties

You will be responsible for all housekeeping, keeping the house clean and tidy. You will be expected to do all cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, deep cleaning etc, along with cleaning the windows internally, watering plants, keeping the outside area tidy. You should be experienced and happy to get on with your duties, having an eye for detail. Feeding the cat and dog if the family are not around. You will also be expected to empty the cat litter tray.  You will be expected to take and collect dry cleaning. A small amount of ironing for the children and some light grocery shopping, such as if the family are missing milk. You may in frequently be asked to run other errands such as to the post office.

You will also be expected to walk the family springer spaniel.

Location

The family are based in Notting Hill, London and you would be in charge or the care of the home.

Days/Hours

5/6 hours in the morning 5 hrs for cleaning and 1 hr for walking the dog, 5 days a week (Monday-Friday). (25 hours a week)

Languages

You should speak a good level of English

Special Skills

You should be an experienced housekeeper, who is both animal and child friendly. Being happy and prepared to cook for the family in the future would be a bonus.

Package Offered

£12-£13 net per hour dependant on experience.
