A single mother, with three lovely children (twin boys aged 2 years old and 6 year old daughter) are looking for a full time Nanny/PA to work for their family long-term. They are based in York city centre, YO31, Yorkshire. You must have a driving licence in order to apply for this position.

Family Background
A single mother who has just relocated from the USA to York, she is in the restaurant business, and has three wonderful children. The toddler twin boys attend full time nursery, and the oldest daughter attends full time school. The mother is very busy with work, and is keen to find a long-term member of staff to help her family, and be a valued member of family routine and life. Due to the industry she works in, she is often very busy, and although she is a very hands on mum, she is keen to find some flexible support for both her business and family life. They have a part time housekeeper who attends the property three times a week. They have no pets. The mother does not drive, and hence why this is an important part of the role, for the candidate to be able to drive.
Duties
One side of the duties will be focused on the PA/Admin side of the role. From helping with paperwork, filing, admin, accounts and running errands and assisting the mother with her business life. You should be confident with these skills and be pro-active. The other side of the role is caring and helping with the children, so you should love children and be confident with these ages. Mum is very hands on, but needs help, from getting them ready for school and then getting them ready for bed, and school runs. The mum would also like to slightly decrease the hours the boys attend nursery, so during these times and during the holidays, you'd be providing fun and active schedules, and helping take the children to fun play dates and routines. There is no housekeeping, but you should be clean and tidy, willing to help out around the house and get stuck in to family life. You should also show a high degree of professionalism and respect confidentiality in all business transactions, and accompany the mother on errands where needed.
Location/Accommodation
The mother is happy to provide accommodation for a live in role (if required), which would be a private bathroom and private toilet (with a shared shower) in the family home. Or you can live out if you prefer, however you should be in commutable distance of central York.
Days/Hours
Two days off per week, Tuesday and Sunday. You'll work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Working 7am to 8pm, with at least two 1 and half hour breaks per day at lunch time and before twin pick-up (supper time). You should be flexible to do occasional proxy-parenting overnights just to help mum catch up on sleep. This would be 7pm - 7am, on occasional pre agreed dates only.
Languages
You should also speak English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You must have a driving licence to apply for this role. You should have a real calm personality with a sense of control around young children, or experience with multiple children.
