A warm and friendly family of three based in South Kensington, London, SW7 are looking for a new Nanny to join their family home.
Package Offered
- £35,000 - £45,000 gross per year depending on experience.
- Monday to Friday, 12 – 7pm each day (35 hours each week)
- Extra hours can be worked if you wish with overtime paid
Family Background
A busy family of three, they have one son who is almost 3 years old. The parents suspect that their son has mild autism. Although he has not been diagnosed yet, it would be beneficial if you have experience with SEN. The family are keen to find a professional nanny who can support their son with his development and growth. They live in a lovely property and have no pets. They have a housekeeper who attends the property part time. Both parents are professional and work full time, and need an extra pair of hands who can love and support their child.
Duties
You should be confident with all aspects of nanny duties which pertain around the little boy. You should be knowledgeable with this age range, but also with children who are on the autism spectrum and can support the family with the child’s development and growth. The little boy attends speech and occupational therapy and you should be able to support the parents in this development and work alongside the professional support team to help with his development and growth.
The child is starting school in September, so you would pickup the child, bring him home, and plan educational and fun activities for him each day. You should be happy to be focused on all childcare duties, tidying his room and organizing activities for him. There is no cooking in this role as the housekeeper will cook for the little boy and you.
In the evening you’ll help with the bedtime routine and be able to help the families daily needs. The little boy has a joy for life, liking outdoor activities, nature and animals.
Most importantly you should be looking for a long-term role, to give the little boy a stable and loving environment.
Location
This is a live-out role so you should be within an easily commutable distance to South Kensington, London, SW7
Days/Hours
- Monday to Friday, 12 – 7pm each day
- Flexibility to do occasional extra hours when agreed in advance
Languages
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You should also be confident in nanny skills and have previously worked with children with autism – able to support the family in the way they need for the little boys development and growth.
