A professional couple who have two lovely children aged 2.5 and 4, are looking for a lovely nanny to join their family. They live in Kensington, SW7. You should be happy to travel regularly as part of this role. This is either a live in OR live out role. The family will be travelling over the Christmas and New Year, for three months and you'd be expected to be available to travel with them.
- Currently the family pay £12net per hour.
- As the hours adjust during school/holiday/travel, the salary range is between: £40,000 - £55,000 gross per year

A professional father, the mother is also professional, but since having her children, she has become less focused on her work. Their two children are 2.5 (boy) and 4 years of age (girl). They both attend full time nursery. They live in a beautiful three bedroom property in Kensington, Central London, and they are going to be moving to a larger property on the same road in the next 6 months. They have a large dog, a German Shepherd, whom is much loved by the family. They have a current nanny, but their nanny is moving on, and they are looking to replace her. They have a part time housekeeper.
The children attend full time nursery/school, Monday to Friday. The older child will be attending school from September 2019. Currently the children attend nursery from 9am to 12, midday. The mother and father are very involved and as the mother is not currently working you should be happy with sole and shared charge. Sharing the duties - for example if the mother takes one child to an activity then perhaps you'll take the other child to another one, or work together to make sure that dinner is ready, and help with bath/bed routine. You should be pet friendly, and happy to walk the dog. You should be organised and tidy, and although there is no housekeeping duties, you would be expected to muck in with family life, emptying the dishwasher, putting laundry on and making sure everything is tidied up after the children. The family travel regularly, and travel is part of the role, so you should be happy to travel with the family and spend long periods away from the UK. Their next trip is on the 9th of December, the family will go to Sydney and return in March. You would be expected to go with them. However if you wanted to return early to the UK, then they would be happy to accommodate this with some early holiday leave. This will begin to regulate when the children attend full time school, but you should always be happy to travel.
This is a live in or live out role. If you live in, then you'll be provided your own bedroom and bathroom within the family home. If you live out then you should be able to commute easily to Kensington. When you travel with the family, accommodation will be provided with the family.
The family are quite flexible. During term time, you'll work Monday to Friday, 11am to 7pm. During travel with the family or holiday time, then your hours will increase from 8am to 7pm, however you'll have regular breaks throughout the day.
You should a good level of English.
You must be skilled in childcare of these ages, and happy to travel with the family.
ASAP, with a start/trial before the 9th of December, as the family leave to Sydney on the 9th.
