A lovely family based in Empshott, Hampshire, GU33, are looking for a lovely maternity nurse to help support the family when their child is born (due date the 20th of May 2019).

Package Offered

£220-£250 gross per 24hrs.  The family are open to considering applications from maternity nurses on higher day rates, and will consider each application on their own merit.

Family Background

A lovely mother and father, they have two sons aged 4 and 2.  The father works locally, and is often able to pop in to have lunch with the children.  The mother works in London, and is due her third baby on the 20th of May.  They have no pets.  They will have a part time cleaner who will attend the property.  They have a full time nanny for their older children.

Duties

The baby is due on the 20th of May, and the parents would like the maternity nurse to start as soon as the family is home. They will be looking for 24/5 for the first month, and then after the first month, they would like to continue with some night only support for the next month or two. They would like the maternity nurse to provide a great structure from the beginning help with setting a routine and include a good sleep training routine as the baby grows. The mother will decide when baby is born on either breast or formula feeding so you should be experienced with providing support for both. You will be expected to sleep in the nursery when baby sleeps.

Location/Accommodation

The family live in Empshott, Hampshire, GU33 and you will be expected to sleep in the nursery with the baby when you are working.  Ideally you should be not too far of a commute from the family, so that when it changes to night only support, you'll not have to commute too far.

Days/Hours

5 days per week, 24/5 - then after the first month, the contract will reduce to just night support.

Languages

You must speak a good level of English in order to communicate easily with the family.

Special Skills

You must have previous experience as a maternity nurse and be a very energetic and bubbly person.
