One of Polo & Tweed's member of staff is going to be leaving us mid November 2016 to have a baby! We are therefore looking for someone to work for us for 3-6 months.  There is potential to continue on in the position even after she returns.

An international company, we are based in Mayfair, London (HQ) and our candidates and clients come to us from around the world looking for staff for their homes and candidates looking for jobs.  We specialise in the high net worth and VIP families across the world.  We also offer training in areas such as Silver Service and Butler training.  Highly regarded we give a personal and unique service to our clients, and always go the extra mile.

Duties 
You do not need to have a background in recruitment, but if you do not you MUST be excellent at computers/IT.  The majority of our work is done on the computer, so you should be excellent at computer skills, a quick learner and have perfect written and spoken English in order to process CVs quickly.  You should also have an excellent phone manner and personal presentation. You will be given training and shadow the colleagues working up to takeover from our colleague leaving to go on maternity. Duties will also include:

  • Database management
  • Work flow sheets management
  • Course writing
  • Research for hotels/ venues for courses
  • Research for other things as/ when needed by the director
  • Adding new Cvs/ candidates to database
  • Checking and chasing references
  • Selling our services to referees/ potential clients
  • Adding referees to database
  • Interviewing candidates on Skype and making sure we have their correct documents
  • Editing Cvs
  • Calling/emailing/ texting candidates to get their correct details needed for Cvs
  • Job advertising on different websites
  • Replying to all emails
  • Applying for DBS for candidates
  • Selling DBS to candidates
  • Selling courses to candidates
  • Paying small invoices
  • Speaking to clients when needed
  • Chasing invoices when needed
  • Writing blogs once per week
  • Checking the suitability of each candidate/ CV

Location
Our office is based in Mayfair, London.  However for the final month of work our colleague will be working remotely from home (due to her being very pregnant) so you would be expected to work alongside her at her home (in North London).  For candidates based in West London/West Berkshire, there might be opportunities to shadow the director (who often works remotely).

During working hours you will be expected to either work remotely OR work from our office in Mayfair.  We are open to discussions.

Days/Hours
Monday to Friday.  9:30am - 5:30pm.  8 hours a day.  40 hours a week.

Languages 
You must speak fluent English both written and spoken.  

Special Skills 
You must have an excellent phone personality.  You should speak clear English.  You should be good at sales/connecting with clients and you MUST be excellent on computers/IT

Package Offered 
£20-26K per year depending on experience.

Interview/Start date 
The position will start around the 15th of October, with our colleague leaving to go on maternity leave around the 15th of November.
