A young family is looking for a full-time nanny / Housekeeper to join their family home near Woolhampton, Berkshire, RG7. This is a live-out role and you should be able to commute easily to the property. You must have a driving licence.

Family Background
The family have three children, aged 9, 7 & 4 years old. The family are keen to find a new long-term nanny who is happy to lend a pair of hands to do the housekeeping duties.
Duties
The ideal candidate should be both happy to help with child duties and help around the house. You should be fun and flexible, as the role requires more nannying during the school holidays with a greater emphasis on housekeeping duties during term time.
You will be required to help the children get ready for school in the morning and then take charge of them in the afternoon / evening, getting them ready for bed. A significant aspect of the role will be understanding and organising the children’s routines and activities. You should be happy to organise playdates, make arrangements for school activities and field trips etc.
The ideal candidate will be responsible and flexible, able to adapt to changing plans and take charge of the children’s extra-curricular activities. You will be primarily responsible for the children, ensuring that they are organised and occupied, helping them with homework and keeping their bedroom clean and tidy.
Housekeeping duties will vary throughout the week but also focus on the children’s areas, though you will be responsible for keeping the home tidy and helping with general housekeeping duties as needed. You will also be helping with cooking, and preparing food for the children, snacks and dinners. The family prefer simple and healthy family-style meals.
The parents work from home two days a week, on those days you would there would be a later start, between 8am – 9am.

The family live near Woolhampton, Berkshire, RG7. This is a live-out role and you should be able to commute to the property.
Days/hours
Monday to Friday 45 hours per week
6:45am – 9am – Helping the Children prepare for school
3:30pm – 7pm Afterschool child care hours
Flexible hours during the middle of the day to complete housekeeping duties.
Languages
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You should be confident with both childcare and housekeeping, friendly and happy to be a part of family life. You must also have experience looking after children of this age range. You must hold a driving licence.
