A professional family based in London, NW3, are looking for a full-time housekeeper / nanny to help look after their home and four Children, aged between 12 years and 18 months. A separate studio apartment will be provided for the right candidate. This is a live-in role.

Family Background
The family live in a lovely 6-bedroom house in London, NW3. They have four children aged with the oldest being 12 and the youngest 18 months. As such the successful candidate needs to have experience working with and around young children. They are keen to find a lovely long-term housekeeper / nanny who is also able to help with housekeeping duties and general tasks around the home, as well as ad-hoc duties with the children as required.
Duties
The ideal candidate should be happy to help with child duties and help around the house. Able to confidently manage their duties and keep the home clean and tidy, with the ability to be flexible and work around the needs of the children. The ideal candidate should be fun and flexible, plans can change often and each day may present different needs to the last.
The position requires two evenings a week of babysitting, you would be required to stay for an additional 4 hours into the evening and put the children to bed.
You should be tidy and happy to help out in the home with laundry and ironing and general housekeeping duties. Running errands including groceries and helping with tidying up around the house. Helping with cooking, and preparing food for the children’s snacks and dinners would be a bonus. The family also employ cleaners a few times a week to assist you.

The family live in London, NW3 and will provide a separate studio apartment for the chosen candidate to live in, within easy commuting distance.
Days/hours
Monday to Friday
10am - 7pm
Flexibility to do additional hours/babysitting when agreed in advance. This will be paid as overtime or time off in lieu.
A half day on Saturday with flexible hours.
Languages
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You should also be confident in both childcare and housekeeping. You should be friendly and happy to be a part of family life.
