Lovely parents in North Nottinghamshire, NG22 are looking for a new full time nanny to look after their 4 month old daughter. This is a live in or live out role, and a separate cottage on the grounds can be provided. Due to location, you must have a full driving licence for this position. If you choose to live out, you must live within an easily commutable distance.
Package Offered
- £40,000 - £50,000 gross per year depending on experience

Family Background
This is a welcoming family, consisting of the parents, their 4 month old daughter, and their 2 working gun dogs. The mum is currently on maternity leave and will be returning to work in January, and is therefore looking for the new nanny to get settled in before then. The estate is busy holding shoots and events regularly. Alongside the pet dogs, the family also keeps horses, so you must be happy around animals. The family already employs a full time housekeeper and gardener.
Duties
The family lives a rural lifestyle on their traditional country estate, and they looking for someone who is fun, outdoorsy, and proactive. You must be happy to pop on your wellies and go for a muddy walk across the fields to see the cows!
The successful candidate should be fun and bubbly, and you will be in charge of standard nanny duties such as organising and taking the daughter to playdates and playgroups, planning activities, and any housekeeping that pertains to the baby such as her bedroom, her laundry, and keeping everything organised. You should be comfortable with both sole and shared charge of the little girl. On Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays will be sole charge, and Tuesdays and Wednesdays will be half days with shared care with the parents.
Once the baby starts weaning, you will be responsible for preparing her meals. This will involve food shopping and meal planning for the baby also.
There will also be the opportunity to travel with the family when they go away, this is not essential but would be a bonus.
Location
The family home is located on a country estate in North Nottinghamshire, NG22. This is a live-in role or live out role. If you choose to live out, you must live within an easily commutable distance. A cottage on the estate can be provided, the cottage is currently undergoing a full refurbishment with a new kitchen and bathroom. The cottage comprises of a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living area. Due to size, the accommodation is better suited to a single candidate (pets are allowed). There is alternative accommodation which can be provided if necessary, which is larger and more suited to candidates with partners and families.
Days/Hours
- Overall 50 hours per week, with an additional 4 hours of evening babysitting per week which may not be used
- Working Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 7am - 7pm
- Working half days on both Tuesdays & Wednesdays - one morning shift and one afternoon shift, with some flexibility.
- You should be happy to do occasional overtime hours over the weekend as needed, this would be agreed upon in advance and will be given as time in lieu
Languages
You should speak fluent English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You should have a minimum of 2 years sole charge experience looking after babies and young children. You should be warm, happy and friendly. You must be a confident and safe driver.
