- £40,000 - £55,000 gross per year depending on experience.

Family Background
A family are looking for a full-time housekeeper to take direction and look after and maintain their family home near Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire, GL54. This formal household consists of seven bedrooms and five bathrooms. The couple have older children who visit the house regularly with their own children. This is a fully staffed household. The family also have lots of dogs so you must be happy around animals for this role.
Duties
You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a very high standard, with great attention to detail. You should be able to work as part of a team and take direction and be responsible for the other housekeepers. You will be responsible for the daily and deep cleaning of the household and ensure it is always tidy and presentable. Making beds, cleaning bathrooms and all areas of the house.
You will also be responsible for the family’s ironing and should be able to undertake these duties to a high standard, with fine linens being used in the property. You will ensure that the home is generally well presented and cared for. You should be able to care for antiques and fine furnishings and clean to a very high standard.
You should be confident to deal with problems as they arise and be a self-starter. Able to manage your time effectively and enjoy organizing, cleaning cupboards.
Location/Accommodation
The estate is based near Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire, GL54. This is a live-in, or live out role, or flexi-arrangement, and you will be provided with a a single bedroom flat, self-contained in the main house or a self contained property on the grounds if you decide to live in. If you live out, you should be able to commute easily to the property each day.
Days/Hours
Working 5 days a week, with two days off each week having one weekend every month worked.
Working week to be discussed as hours and days will vary depending on the family movements. Typically a 45 hour working week. But a level of flexibility is expected.
You will typically work 7am - 4pm, OR 8am - 5pm OR 4pm - 9pm depending on the schedule of the family.
Languages
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You must be extremely organised and have great attention to detail. You should be confident and proactive. You must be happy around dogs for this role and if you drive it is a bonus.
