A busy family based near Petersfield, Hampshire, GU32 are looking for a House Manager to join their 9-bedroom country home. You must have a full driving license for this role. This is a live in, or live out, or flexi role, depending on your preferences
Package Offered
- £40,000 - £45,000 gross per year depending on experience
- Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm
- Working 40 hours per week
Family Background
A lovely family of five with three teenage children. They live in a nine bedroom country house set in the beautiful Hampshire countryside. They currently employ cleaners who attend the home twice weekly, and a dog walker who attends daily.
Duties
You will be responsible for managing the daily upkeep of the home and overseeing the cleaners who visit the property twice a week. The house should always be tidy and presentable.
You will need to be very confident taking care of wardrobe management in the home. Including supervision of laundry and ironing for the family, including managing all external dry cleaners.
You will need to organise all contractors and tradespeople that visit the property. You should be happy to run some errands, do light shopping, and runs to the post office, and do similar tasks. A car can be provided if you do not own one.
This role has no obligation to cook, but you can if you wish to. You will be expected to house-sit and pet-sit for the family when they are away. Occasionally you may be required to stay in the house, supervising two of the children aged 13 and 15 years old.
The successful candidate should have strong initiative and an eye for detail. You should be confident with all aspects of house management and be able to assist with the clean and care for the home to a high standard.
Location
The family home near Petersfield, Hampshire, GU32. This is a live in or live out role. If you choose to live in, you will be provided with a private apartment located five minutes from the property. The apartment has a garden, off-street parking space. All utilities and rent are included. If you choose to live out, you must live in an easily commutable distance.

Languages
You should speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You should be an experienced and skilled house manager for this role. You should be self-motivated will excellent communication skills.
