A lovely family of five with three young children in Stockbridge, Hampshire, SO20 are looking for a kind and loving nanny to become a part of the family. This is a live in, or live out or flexi role depending on your preferences.
Package Offered
- £25,000 - £35,000 gross per year depending on experience
- Working Monday to Thursday/Friday.
- 40 hours a week (flexible on this)
Family Background
A lovely family of five with three boys aged 1, 2 and 4 years old live in a beautiful house with a large garden stretching down to the River Test. The family are expecting a little girl in October. The house is within walking distance to the picturesque and charming town of Stockbridge with its numerous boutiques, cafes and riverside walk. A five-minute walk from home is a fabulous adventure playground for the children as well as lots of stunning countryside walks such as Danebury Fort and Chilbolton Common. The wife owns a luxury travel business and works from home with weekly trips to London, and the husband owns a property business and works in London during the week.
Duties
You should be warm, kind and compassionate, with joy for looking after children. Creative, fun and stimulating to the ages of the children. The boys are very happy, sociable and friendly. The eldest will be starting school in September, the second does a few mornings nursery and the third will do a couple of mornings from February. The boys love being outdoors, cooking, reading, building lego trains or doing arts and crafts. They have weekly swimming, tennis, riding, music and gym classes. You will be in a shared role with the children with some sole care.
You should be easygoing and happy to be involved in family life, helping with the children and happy to get involved in day to day life. You should be willing to keep on top of the house being tidy as well as organized and tidy, with a great attitude. You should also be happy to cook for the children and help with errands. The family employ domestic help three times a week.
You should be confident in sole charge, but equally, be happy with shared charge as the parents are fully involved in the children and daily routine - so you should be confident with both approaches. You should be organized and have a warm and lovely personality.
Location
This is a live-out or live-in role in Stockbridge, Hampshire, SO20. If you chose to live-in accommodation of a separate self-contained unit with be provided.
Days/Hours
- Working Monday to Thursday/Friday 8am - 6pm.
Languages
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You should be looking for a long-term role and have some experience working with children of these ages.
