A professional and busy family with three children based in Mayfair, W1 are looking for a full-time nanny/tutor to support their youngest child with his schoolwork. This role is live-in and it is important that the candidate is willing to travel with the family when required.
Package Offered
- £60,000 - £70,000 gross per year (depending on experience)
- Live-in accommodation provided, private bedroom and bathroom
Family Background
A lovely family who have busy lives, are looking for a nanny/tutor to support their youngest child. The eight-year-old boy is in year four of school and needs extra support, mainly with his English homework. The household is fully staffed and the family have two small dogs.
Duties
You will be solely focused on the eight-year-old boy, the other children have their own nanny. Your main focus will be around his English work but will also help him with other schoolwork if needed.
You should be confident in organising and planning additional work to help him gain confidence. When the children are at school you may have errands to run and any other childcare related duties to complete. For example, organising schedules and planning educational activities
Location/Accommodation
The family is based in Mayfair, London. You will live in during your working days and you will be provided with a private bedroom and bathroom. You will not be required to live in on your days off.
Days/Hours
Friday – Tuesday inclusive – you will work 40 hours each week and the exact working hours will be agreed upon on a mutually flexible basis with the mother. You will have two full days off each week.
Languages
You must speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You should have an educational background and experience working as a tutor or nanny in private households would be beneficial
Some teaching credentials or similar preferred
