A professional British/Scottish family living in South London (Wimbledon) are looking for a lovely full time live in Nanny who is happy to help around the house with housework when required to join their family home.

Family Background
The family of four consist of a professional mother and father, a 2 and a half year old toddler and a 2 month old baby.  The father is involved in presenting and due to his job travels regularly and works unusual hours/days.  The mother is keen to return to work soon, and is looking for a good routine to be in place to help with that.  They have had a maternity nurse for the first few months after the new baby was born, and they are now looking to transition to an lovely full time nanny who is happy to help out around the home when required.  They have a lovely house and no pets.

Duties
All childcare duties as associated with the two children, so you must have experienced with babies.  Initially you will be guided by the maternity nurse and mother for the routine, but then you should be confident to help with the babies and toddler sole charged whenever required.  They have a good routine in place with the baby and need someone who is capable of continuing this routine and understanding the importance of structure in the children's lives.  There may be travel occasionally and you should be happy and flexible to travel with the family if required.  You should be also happy to run errands when required, such as shopping or trips to the post office.  Part of the role will also include care of the home, but the mother is keen for the focus to be on the children.  However she would like when the children are at nursery/napping for the home to be cared for.  So cleaning duties etc.  A deep clean will be performed by the housekeeper who comes once a week to the house.

Location/Accommodation
You will be provided a lovely bedroom, which in the current property has a shared bathroom with the children.

Days/Hours
Typically Monday to Friday, but there needs to be a great deal of flexibility for when the father is travelling with work.  For example he typically tends to travel Wednesday through to Sunday, so on the week he is away, you would be expected to take your two days off on Monday and Tuesday, and then work Wednesday through to Sunday.  This will then allow the mother to work, and for there to be full childcare and support for the family.  Approximate hours would be 8am-6:30pm, with flexibility to work overtime or extra hours whenever required.

Languages
The family speak English, so you should speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.

Special Skills
You should have good initiative, caring and a love of working with children, you should have previous experience working with babies.  Driving is optional, but if you have a driving licence you will be given access to an automatic car.

Package Offered
£350-450net a week, plus accommodation, food, wifi and full expenses covered whenever you travel with the family.

Interview/Start date
The family are interviewing now with the aim to have the candidate conduct a handover/trial with the maternity nurse during Jan, and start end of Jan, or Feb/March
