A family of five near Copenhagen, Denmark are looking for a full time nanny to join their family. This is a live in or live out role. Accommodation will be provided if you live in and if you live out, you must be able to easily commute to the property. You must have the right to work in Denmark to apply for this role (EU passport required).
Package Offered
- £50,000 - £60,000 (433,285 DKK – 519,941 DKK) gross per year depending on experience
- Accommodation in the house will be provided if you live in
Family Background
A busy family of five are now looking for a full time long-term nanny to join their family in January 2024. They have twin baby girls and a 2 year old girl. They have a full time housekeeper who works in the family home. They also employ a maternity nurse who will stay with them until February 2024. They do not have any pets.
Duties
You should be easy going and happy to be involved in family life. You will mainly be looking after the twins and occasionally after the 2 year old girl. You should be willing to keep the children area clean and tidy - although you won't have to do cleaning, you should be organized and tidy, with a great attitude.
You should be happy to tidy up after the children, put toys away and do their laundry specific to the children and plan fun and educational activities.
In the evening you'll be helping with the bed and bath routine. You should be confident in sole charge, but equally, be happy with shared charge as the parents are fully involved in the children and daily routine - so you should be confident with both approaches. You should be flexible and have a warm and lovely personality.
You should also be comfortable and happy with occasional overnight proxy parenting when the parents travel and happy to do additional babysitting when agreed in advance.
Location/Accommodation
The family live 20 minutes away from Copenhagen, Denmark. This is a live in or live out role. Accommodation will be provided if you live in and if you live out, you must be able to easily commute to the property.
Days/Hours
- Working Monday to Friday
- Working 50-60 hours per week
- Occasional work is required during the weekends when the parents are away
Languages
You must speak a good level of English.

Interview/Start date
The family are interviewing now for the right person to start ideally in January 2024, with offers and trials being made before then. They can be flexible on the start date if required for the right person.
