An international professional family living in Zurich, Switzerland with a 4 month old son are looking for a live in Housekeeper/Nanny to join their family.
This is a lovely and down to earth international family, the father is Swiss and the mother is Indian/Singaporean. The father is a consultant with a high pressured job and does long hours with much international travel. The mother is currently on maternity leave but will return back to work in January 2019. The family love to travel a lot, and are first time parents. They do not have any family to support them in Zurich so they are really looking for that support and knowledge whilst they settle into their new lives as parents.
You will be in charge of all childcare as well as all housekeeping and upkeep of the house. This included all cleaning, laundry, wardrobe management as well as cooking for the parents. The child is currently being breastfed but will start the weaning process in July so you will then also be in charge to help and prepare food for the child. From January 2019 the mother will be going back to work so you will have sole charge of the child, whereas at the moment the mother is at home to help out.
The family are based in Zurich, Switzerland. They have a three bedroom apartment and you would be living in the guestroom and share the bathroom. On the very rare occasion the family would have guests over you would stay in the baby room which contains an adult bed too.
You will be working 6 days per week with 1 day per week off. However the family travel quite regularly for weekends away of weekday breaks so when they would be away you would have those days off.
You must speak a very good level of English. Any other languages are a bonus but not a must.
You must be an experienced housekeeper as well as an experienced nanny having worked with babies and young children. If you are able to drive this would be a bonus, but not a must.
